Les tyrans se vantent de choses qui ne sont pas, se vantent de leur pouvoir, se vantent d'avoir soumis un peuple… Dans leur stupidité, ils arrivent à se vanter d'avoir le contrôle de la Ville. Comme nous le mentionnions hier, en aucune façon, ils peuvent considérer avoir obtenu le contrôle de la ville. L'héroïque peuple d'Oaxaca a obtenu hier une victoire… de manière ordonnée et disciplinée, sans avoir fait usage de la violence pour sans utiliser la violence, il a pu contenir l'avancée des hordes de policiers-violeurs, a pu les freiner sans répondre à leur violence par la violence. Ni par l'emploi de tout leur arsenal, milliers de bombes de gaz lacrymogène et de gaz moutarde qui étaient lancées depuis des hélicoptères, des tanks antiémeutes, des fusils d'assaut n'ont pu prendre aucun point important, ni le Zocalo, ni Canal 9, ni même les barricades les plus importantes n'ont pu être pris par les envoyés de Abascal.
De manière ordonnée et disciplinée, l'APPO a accompli son but de ne pas remettre la ville d'Oaxaca, de manière disciplinée et organisée, elle a ordonné le repli de ses forces vers la Ville Universitaire pour éviter que protégés dans les ombres, les policiers-violeurs et les groupes para-policiers au service de URO (qui bien sûr sont en parfaite coordination avec le PFP) puissent attaquer sans être vus et en marge de tout traité, non seulement de droits de l'Homme, mais aussi de guerre.

Dans le cadre de la journée d'hier nous pouvons donner l'information suivante:
les compagnons décédés sont déjà quatre, leurs noms sont:

1.-Fidel Sanchez García, mort par balles.

2.-José Albert López Bernal, tué par un tir tendu de grenade lacrymogène.

3.- Un enfant de 12 ans, mort par balle.

4.-Une maîtresse dont le corps a été découvert à San Pedro Juxtlahuaca (village situé à 8 kms de Oaxaca).

Il y a 60 compagnons détenus et 30 disparus.

28 ont été placés dans une zone militaire à bord d'hélicoptères, quelques uns sont en ce moment transférés dans des prisons de Miahuatlan de Porfirio Díaz, Tlacolula, et autres.

La PFP, les policiers ministériels et préventifs ont réalisé des perquisitions anticonstitutionnelles à de nombreuses maisons dans divers points de la ville, ils cherchaient à arrêter la Direction Provisoire. Aucun compagnon dirigeant n'a été appréhendé. La PFP n'a pas pu prendre de point important, durant plus de quatres heures nos compagnons ont empêché leur entrée sur le pont du Technologique, le Zocalo a été défendu par des milliers de compagnons qui malgré l'emploi indistinct de gaz lacrymogène, de gaz moutarde, d'armes à feu. Sur instructions de la Commission de Sécurité de l'APPO, ces dits points ont été abandonnés pour se rassembler dans la Ville Universitaire (campus). La PFP a essayé d'empêcher de brouiller la fréquence de la Radio Universitaire, qui a été réduite au silence à peu près une demi-heure, cependant nos techniciens ont pu rétablir la transmission.

Il y a eu des blocages dans différents points de l'État : Dans l'Istmo, à Tlaxiaco, à Putla, Cañada, Cuenca del Papaloapam pour en mentionner certains. De la même manière nos compagnons de la ville de Mexico ont réalisé une manifestation, de même qu'à Hidalgo, Michoacán, Guerrero, Chiapas, Baja California. Des manifestations dans plusieurs parties du monde ont été rapportées : Barcelone, Brésil, Sacramento-Californie, Los Angeles-Californie, Caracas, Fresno-Californie, Valle de Napa, ainsi que la prise de l'ambassade du Méxique en Italie et du consulat à Milan, entre autres.

Des secteurs entiers du Magistère se prononcent contre le retour en cours et se rendront aujourd'hui dans la capitale. Des municipalités de la Sierra Norte en Assemblée Communautaire ont massivement décidé de se déplacer dans la Capitale de l'État.

Durant toute la nuit des réserves ont été installées dans les entrée de la Ville d'Oaxaca de la part de la PFP. En ce moment ont été renforcés et installés plus de barrages pour empêcher l'accès à la ville aux compagnons qui viennent des régions pour renforcer les Marches. Cependant des milliers de personnes arrivent aux trois points de rassemblement pour se rendre au Zocalo. De la même manière un important contingent de la PFP, policiers ministériels et préventifs, se trouve déjà dans les environs de Radio Universidad, ce qui semble être l'intention de prendre la Ville Universitaire et de taire la Voix du peuple qui se transmet à travers de Radio Universidad malgré le fait que le Président de l'UABJO Martínez Neri, a refusé hier la possibilité de violer l'Autonomie Universitaire, comme désaccord avec l'usage de la violence pour résoudre le conflit.

Ils peuvent prendre le Zocalo, ils peuvent prendre la Radio Universidad, cependant le peuple d'Oaxaca dans ces plus de 5 mois de lutte à démontré être un peuple vaillant, digne et ingénieux. La PFP pourra-t-elle maintenir la ville assiégée encore 5 mois, peut-être un an, deux, trois, quatre ? ? ?

Aujourd'hui, plus que jamais alors que le mauvais gouvernement violente encore les mêmes lois qu'il a juré de faire accomplir et transforme l'Etat de Oaxaca en état de siège et suspend de fait (comme le tyran Ulises Ruiz Ortiz l'a fait) les garanties individuelles et nos droits humains, nous faisons appel au peuple du Mexique, aux peuples du monde à réaliser des manifestations.

IndyMedia a écrit:After a peaceful march of tens of thousands reached Oaxaca's city center, police and protesters fought in the streets, police firing heavy amounts of tear gas, protesters throwing rocks and shooting bottle rockets through plastic tubes. By nightfall the police had forced the APPO to retreat back from Santo Domingo. Police beat and fired upon protesters. Protesters set fire to cars and buildings.

The Seventh Mega March of the APPO has begun with hundreds of thousands marching from Santas Maria Coyotepec, 8 kilometers outside of the capital to the central zocalo of Oaxaca City, which is occupied by the Federal Preventative Police, the PFP. 200 representatives of the directive body of the APPO are marching within a security circle created by others in the march. Upon arriving to the zocalo the marchers will create a circle of thousands of bodies around the zocalo, essentially to enclose the PFP inside. They will then spend 48 hours camped around the zocalo occupying the space around the federal forces.

Some Federal Preventative Police have been seen leaving the zocalo and are going to create roadblocks 80 kilometers and 25 kilometers outside of Oaxaca City, presumably to create an obstacle for the caravans arriving from other parts of the state to participate in the mega march.

The APPO said there were unusual movements of the police yesterday around the zocalo and believe that the police are backed by under-covers and PRI party supporters and will try to provoke violence and confrontations. To add to this the APPO has said that the two radioshow hosts of the PRI party radio, a radio backed by the government, Radio Cuidana are calling for aggressions against the march. Apparently the radio hosts have been heard calling for government supporters to throw hot water and hydrochloric acid on marchers.

The APPO declared that one its spokespeople César Mateos and an APPO member Jorge Sosa were disappeared by police elements at the APPO planton around 8:30 last night.

Despite all this hundreds of thousands of APPO supporters from around the state have converged right now to march to the city of the capital demanding the exit of the federal police from the city as well as the exit of governor Ulises Ruiz from power.

Since Friday, the peaceful (mostly) resistance of the Popular Assembly of the People of Oaxaca has been violently crushed. What leaders that have not been arrested are now in hiding.

Over 200 have been arrested using blank arrest warrants, most beaten and tortured then shipped to distant
prisons in far flung sections of the country without contact with family or access to attorneys. Human rights organizations have reported rapes of women prisoners. Many others are simply disappeared. This has happened since infiltrated provocateurs and instigators provoked a military response to an otherwise peaceful demonstration last Saturday.

The last barricade, at the intersection Cinco Senores outside the university whose radio station has been the voice of the resistance, fell at 4:30 am yesterday. As the radio station was thus unprotected and an invasion
of Federal forces was immanent, the decision was made to cease operations and turn the station over to university officials. At this time it is not known the fate of the announcers who have all had arrest warrants issued for them.

Although the movement has been seriously damaged and been driven underground, it will go on.
Money is being raised through RadioTupa.org for the equipment to launch a pirate station to replace Radio Universidad. I sure hope DUers can find it in their heart to help.

Tommorrow, december 1, a new mexican president will be installed as the result of an obviously fraudulent election. Already the mexican congress is torn apart by brawls and fistfights on the floor as well as an ongoing sleep-in to prevent takeover by rival parties.

A massive demonstration is planned in the central sqaure of Mexico City to protest the inauguration.

Pour ma part, je crains que les autorités mexicaines, avec l'entrée officielle en poste le 1er décembre du président "élu", décident d'en finir avec la Commune de Oaxaca, surtout que celle-ci se retrouve avec de moins en moins de monde à cause de la répression féroce de la Police fédérale et des paramilitaires qui enlèvent, torturent et assassinent des centaines de personnes.

PEOPLE OF OAXACA! PEOPLE OF MEXICO! PEOPLE OF THE WORLD!

From somewhere in the state of Oaxaca, as the State Council of the Popular Peoples’ Assembly of Oaxaca,

WE DECLARE:

FIRST: The APPO is more alive than ever in the hearts of the workers, indigenous people, campesinos, housewives, students, youth, children, and all the exploited and oppressed in Oaxaca and Mexico. The State Terror that has been unleashed on the people of Oaxaca and the international community with increased brutality since November 25 has not weakened our desire to be free men and women.

Nor has it made us change our minds about whether our struggle should continue to be a political, peaceful and mass movement, despite the fact that 17 people have been killed during this stage of the struggle, dozens of people have disappeared and hundreds are political prisoners; we consider this toll to consist of crimes against humanity.

SECOND: The APPO continues to act permanently; although we are not visible at sentries or heard over the radio 24 hours a day, we still live and communicate with the same indomitable spirit which we have inherited as exploited people. We are fighting and will continue to fight intensely for the fall of the tyrant and his dictatorship, the dictatorship of capital.

This new stage of struggle that we have named the “Stage of Peace with Justice, Democracy and Liberty without Ulises Ruiz Ortiz” is, at the same time, a novel exercise to continue the struggle that the APPO is learning to build with patience, perseverance and wisdom.

Our original peoples taught us this on November 28 and 29 at the Forum of Indigenous Peoples of Oaxaca, when they told us that the “path must be taken slowly,” which is what we are doing now, without losing sight of the common objective, which is the profound transformation of living, working, academic and recreational conditions for our people. As the faithful puppet of the wealthy and the drug traffickers who he defends and represents, URO (Ulises Ruiz) stood in the way of this path. As representatives of a people who decided to embark on the route to their own emancipation, we will remove him from this path that belongs to us.

THIRD: The Council is calling all people of Oaxaca from now until December 10 to organize and carry out mobilizations and protest actions to spread the “Stage of Peace…”, the call for the release of political prisoners, the return of the disappeared, the cancellation of orders of apprehension, an end to illegal arrests, an end to gag orders, the withdrawal of the Federal Preventive Police (PFP), and what brought us all together: the departure of the murderer Ulises Ruiz from Oaxaca. We call for this to happen in all regions of the state through our regional, municipal and sectorial Popular Assemblies. We do so because on December 10 we will hold a “Grand Concentration,” meeting at 10am at the monument to Juárez, located at the Crucero de Viguera in Oaxaca City, to express our condemnation of and opposition to the baton and rifle policy to which this group of murderers and thieves who call themselves the government in Oaxaca want to subject us.
